Student volunteers of JSS Academy of Technical Education, Bengaluru on their own initiation started YODHA (The Warrior Within In) on 24th September 2013 to demonstrate their social awareness skill and help the needy one. Yodha implies a warrior. A fighter, Not to fight battles, not to wage wars but to bring peace to the irrational society of ours. Each one of us desperately wants a change in the way our society works. Every one of us are longing for a fresh breath of air. As the saying goes, “If you want change, then, be the change”, it is absolutely pointless and inappropriate to wait for something drastic to suddenly happen. It is our nation. Our India. We are the youth, the people responsible to make the drastic change a real thing. Realising our responsibility towards our country, we started with our small contributions. We thought we should start with the place we spend most of our time. Yes! Our college.
