JSS Academy of Technical Education is situated in serene location at about 10 KM from main city center spread over more than 21 acres of land in the south west part of Bengaluru, the IT Capital of India. The environment provides stimulating intellectual alertness, creativity and trigger the desire for learning. This place has been exclusively earmarked for educational purposes by JSS Mahavidyapeetha, Mysuru. The best things which are visible in our college campus are lush green trees, idly lake, majestic academic and hostel blocks and many sports facilities such as cricket ground, football ground, tennis court, basketball court, etc. which makes every student to feel good.
The College has three academic blocks to provide the necessary facilities to students. All the blocks are having lecture halls, seminar halls and well-equipped laboratories. Each lecture hall is equipped with comfortable sitting for all the students, podium and the modern facilities for presentations. All the labs are well-equipped with the state-of-the-art equipment, tools and software.
The institution is providing excellent hostel facilities separately for boys & girls within the campus at a very reasonable fees with all modern amenities. The hostels also have a recreation room, gym, indoor and outdoor sports facilities. The hostels kitchen provides excellent and hygienic catering. Most of the rooms are twin sharing type. Facilities available in the girls’ hostel include single rooms for every student. Wi-Fi facility is available on the entire campus.
The college has well-equipped central library with all the modern facilities. The library has various sections like reading room, circulation section, journals section, reference section, bound volume section, discussion room, audio video room, digital library, reprographic section, etc. At present the library has around 42600 volumes, 14680 titles, 1680 e-journals and 11,111 e-books. The Digital library archives has been started by the central library by using Libsoft Library Software. Added to this, the library has membership to VTU consortium and National digital library. The Library serves various purposes like serving the academic needs of students and faculties, acting as a center for collection of books, supporting to search journals for researchers, etc. Book Bank facility is also available in the library for backward classes.
